Deadline approaching: Registration open for Hispanic journalists conference in San Antonio

Journalists interested in the Latino vote, healthcare and boarder violence can participate in this conference.
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) and the San Antonio Association of Hispanic Journalists (SAAHJ) will host the regional conference, “Encuentro en San Antonio,” December 7 - 8 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Antonio.
The conference will cover subjects such as politics, social media, ethics, health, diversity and drug cartels. Notable speakers include Joaquin Castro, Texas Congressman Elect, and ABC News' John Quinones. Additionally, NAHJ board members will be providing one-on-one video or résumé critique sessions throughout the day on Saturday.
Sponsors include the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and United Airlines.
The cost of attendance is between US$20 and US$50.
Online pre-registration is open until December 5. After December 5, registration will take place on site.
