Journalists working in broadcast, print or online media organizations can participate in this workshop in Cairo.

The Support for Information Technology Center is organizing a training on June 23 on professional writing for news reporting as part of its program “Media independence."

The training program will feature the analysis of bias patterns in news reporting and writing guidelines for news reporting.

Participants must be 35 years old or younger and have experience in the field. They need to submit three work samples previously published.

The training will be led by researcher Yasser Abdelaziz.

Candidates must send a short resume in Arabic, including their name, contact information and media employer, and write “workshop” in the subject line to info@sitcegypt.org.

The deadline is June 10.
