Journalists interested in environmental issues can apply for travel grants to attend the 9th World Wilderness Conference (WILD9) in Mexico from November 6 to 13. Deadline: October 7.

This year's conference will focus on the "critical role wilderness plays in mitigating climate change and conserving biodiversity."

The conference will bring together representatives from the private sector, NGOs and government, scholars, journalists, and more, who specialize in environment and wilderness-related issues.
