Deadline extended: Fellowship sends journalists to Korea

European journalists, editors or freelancers from print, online, broadcast outlets and news agencies may apply for a fellowship.
The European Journalism Centre and the Korea Press Foundation (KPF) seek applicants for a two-week fellowship program in South Korea, aimed to promote a better understanding of the region.
Applicants must be fluent in English and be EU citizens with at least five years' experience as a professional journalism at an EU media outlet.
The program features a series of seminars led by specialists. Topics include EU-Korea relations, development and challenges for the EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA), green growth policy and security on the Korean peninsula.
The KPF will cover flight expenses of up to EU€500, accommodation and local transport in Korea for the extent of the fellowship - August 20-September 1.
The deadline has been extended from May 27 to June 24.
