Deadline extended: International reporting fellowship for minority journalists

Deadline:

1/12/12

U.S. minority journalists can apply for an international reporting fellowship.

The International Center for Journalists presents "Bringing Home the World: International Reporting Fellowship Program for Minority Journalists," giving journalists of color an opportunity to report abroad on issues that resonate with their communities.

Fellows will fine-tune their reporting projects and gain new reporting skills during an orientation in Washington, D.C. Fellows will then report abroad for up to two weeks. Each fellow will be mentored by a working or veteran foreign correspondent.

Applicants must propose reporting projects fit for publication or broadcast.

The deadline has been extended to January 12.
