Asian-American college students or recent graduates majoring in journalism can apply for a reporting grant.

The Asian American Journalist Association (AAJA) will provide funding for eight student reporters to cover the UNITY: Journalists of Color convention August 1-4 in Las Vegas.

The conference unites AAJA, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association and the Native American Journalists Association, including all media professionals and supporters of diversity in news media.

Travel and hotel accommodations are covered.

Apply by March 9.
