Debate on media practitioners' bill to be held in Botswana

On September 25, the Media Publishers' Forum will host a public debate on the implications of the Media Practitioners' Bill established in June in Botswana. The event, which will take place at the Gaborone International Convention Centre, will be by invitation only due to the limited space.
Chairman of the Press Council of South Africa, Raymond Louw, and Joe Thloloe of the Press Ombudsman will be the main presenters, and local media, academics, legal experts and government are invited to present.
