Journalists and bloggers from the United States and MENA region are invited to attend this workshop in Amman, Jordan.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and Google are inviting 25 journalists for a two-day training session, “Digital Tools for Newsgathering and Reporting Across Cultures.” The workshop will be held by the Jordan Media Institute April 21 - 22.

The session will aim to empower journalists and bloggers to acquire new knowledge and skills in Web, social analytics and data skills, with a focus on Google tools.

Applicants must have basic knowledge of digital tool, Web journalism and the use of social media. Proficiency in English or Arabic is required. Transportation and accommodation will be provided for applicants outside of Jordan.
