Dow Jones internships accepting applications

Students can apply for four paid summer internships in multimedia, news, sports and business reporting.

The Dow Jones News Fund (DJNF) provides internships to juniors, seniors and graduate students for at least 10 weeks at media outlets nationwide.

Interns will attend pre-internship seminars and receive weekly salaries. Scholarships of US$1,000 will be available to students returning to college full time.

All interns will receive training at various universities before being assigned to newspapers, websites or other media based on academic performance, outlet requests and DJNF editing exam scores.

Applicants must submit a resume, transcript and a 500-word essay. Business reporting applicants must additionally submit three to five .pdf clips.

The application deadline is November 1.
