Online science journalism course available in Portuguese
Portuguese-speaking journalists and students who are interested in science reporting can enroll in this online course.
Brazil's Cursos Educar is offering a science reporting course, in partnership with the World Federation of Science Journalists (WFSJ) and the Science and Development Network (SciDev.Net).
The course features eight lessons that address finding and evaluating scientific news, managing controversies and the art of interviewing.
Lessons are available for free, but those who want to receive a certificate of attendance must pay BR$30 (about US$15) and participate in online forums, e-mails and live chats.
Applicants must fill out a form online. Registration is ongoing.
