East-West Center organizes exchange for Korean journalists

Deadline:

11/30/07

The East-West Center is organizing a program to send seven South Korean journalists to the U.S. to learn more about that country’s political, cultural, economic and social issues. Application deadline: November 30.

The same program, scheduled for April 1 to 17, will bring seven American journalists to South Korea. After their tours, all 14 journalists will meet at the center in Honolulu, Hawaii, to share their experiences and insight on how they might improve their news coverage.

The program covers all lodging, meals and travel for the journalists.  Participants must have at least five years of experience.
