American print journalists covering energy can apply for the Thomas L. Stokes Award. Submissions should be reporting, analysis or commentary on some form of energy -- oil, gas, coal, nuclear, water, solar, etc. The winner will receive US$1,000 and a citation.

Submissions must have been published in a daily newspaper (print or online) in the U.S. in 2010.
