Entries sought for periodical of African journalism studies
Deadline:
African journalists are invited to submit articles to be included in a journal dedicated to the study of journalism in Africa. Deadline: March 1.
Published by the University of Wisconsin Press in cooperation with the Institute for Media Analysis in South Africa (iMasa), the journal, Ecquid Novi:African Journalism Studies, promotes comparative studies in mass communications and media studies in Africa and the Global South.
The journal also seeks to enrich studies in the field of sociology, politics, communications, cultural studies, and African studies.
Interested journalists can submit articles dealing with ethics, development, politics, race, culture, social issues, and globalization. Comparative studies in transnational and African journalism are also accepted. Although the journal focuses on quantitative methods, other research methodologies are welcome.
