Communication professionals interested in environmental issues can apply for a regional communications officer position in Cameroon.

The Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) seeks someone to highlight their work in Africa to the community. CIFOR promotes environmental conservation through research in developing countries' forests.

Officer duties include developing communications materials in print and on the web, managing the multilingual website and networking with local media.

Applicants must have a communications-related degree, at least five years of work experience in media relations and fluency in English and French. The position includes a 1-year contract, compensation and benefits.
