Journalists covering environmental issues can apply for the Green Technology Journalism Awards.

The competition, sponsored by the German engineering firm Siemens, will honor journalists reporting on energy efficiency, industrial productivity and sustainability.

Journalists from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Australia and New Zealand working in print or online media are eligible to apply. Articles must be published in mainstream media: newspapers, magazines or widely recognized news portals between Jan. 1, 2012 and June 15, 2013.

The deadline is June 30.
