ESPN is seeking a general editor to help shape NFL coverage for its website. The successful candidate will work closely with the NFL senior deputy editor to develop a comprehensive, engaging, informative and entertaining product. This includes developing world-class multimedia and taking advantage of all the resources at ESPN.com, including but not limited to audio, video, blogs and social media.
Applicants should have a minimum five years of editorial and reporting experience, an appreciation of popular culture and a strong understanding of some or all major sports, as well as a working knowledge of athletes, coaches and league operations.
