Fellowship available to journalists reporting in Southeast Asia

Deadline:

11/15/10

Journalists covering underreported topics in Southeast Asia can apply for a fellowship award. The deadline for preliminary project proposals is November 15, and the complete proposal deadline is November 30.

The fellowship aims to provide in-depth coverage and follow-up reporting on major events relating to South Asia, long after the breaking-news cycle has moved on.

Applicants must produce content in English, and be able to publish or broadcast the final work in North America. Each award is typically between US$3,000 and $7,000.
