Mid-career journalists from Latin American media organizations can participate in this contest.

Transparency International, the International Anti-Corruption conference and the Instituto Prensa y Sociedad (IPYS) are offering scholarships for 15 journalists to participate in a workshop on investigative journalism and a subsequent competition for project financing.

The workshop will take place November 7 to 10 in Brasilia, Brazil, in conjunction with the 15th International Anti-Corruption Conference.

During the first two days, participants will engage in high-level investigative training. On the third day, participants will meet individually with three professional journalists, who will advise them on their research projects.

The 15 selected journalists will receive roundtrip airfare to Brasilia from their home cities, accommodation during the days of the workshop, and a stipend for food and transportation.

The deadline to apply for a scholarship is October 19.
