Filmmakers are invited to enter a documentary and short film festival in Madurai, India.

The Madurai International Documentary and Short Film Festival is a non-competitive festival that screens around 100 films. Tamil films dealing with human rights issues can enter a separate competition, with a first prize of RS10,000 (about US$250).
