Documentary filmmakers from all over the world will have the chance to participate in the London International Documentary Festival (LIDF), scheduled for March 31 to April 5, 2008. Last day to apply: December 6. Late entries will be accepted until December 30, with penalty.

Film entries should have been produced between January 1, 2006 and December 6, 2007. Submitted documentaries should cover the following topics: the environment, human rights, memory/history, ethnography/ anthropology, politics/philosophy/economics or heritage and the arts.

Selected films from the LIDF will automatically be submitted for selection to the Margaret Mead Film and Video Festival, scheduled to take place in November 2008.
