A conference on the state of financial journalism will be held in Toronto, Ontario.

The conference, sponsored by the Canadian Journalism Foundation, will explore financial journalism through a roundtable discussion. Topics to be covered include financial illiteracy and the relationship between financial institutions and journalists.

Amanda Lang, CBC News senior business reporter, will host the discussion. She will be joined by other members from the finance and journalism worlds.
