First Amendment award seeks nominees [US]
Deadline:
Journalists and organizations in the United States that published stories on First Amendment issues are eligible for a US$10,000 award.
The Eugene S. Pulliam First Amendment Award, presented by the Society of Professional Journalists, honors journalists and organizations that protect and preserve one or more of the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment.
It was created in honor of Eugene Pulliam, a publisher who was well known for consistently educating the public about First Amendment rights.
Along with the cash prize, the winner will receive airfare and accommodation to attend the Society of Professional Journalists National Convention.
