Journalists with experience covering politics and government for newspapers or magazines may apply.

Folha de S.Paulo is inviting journalists to be part of its database of freelance reporters in the following Brazilian cities: (BA), Boa Vista (RR), Campina Grande (PB), Caruaru e Petrolina (PE), Juiz de Fora e Montes Claros (MG), Macapá (AP), Palmas (TO), Ponta Grossa (PR), Rio Branco (AC), Santarém (PA), São Luís (MA), Teresina (PI) and Vitória (ES).

Those selected will receive basic training on the newspaper's guidelines and will be able to pitch story ideas, but will only be summoned when deemed necessary by Agência Folha.

The selection process includes tests of general knowledge, expertise, and Portuguese grammar and style, in addition to an interview.

The application deadline is April 30.
