Four journalism workshops will be offered in Johannesburg.

The workshops are organized by Fray Intermedia, a journalism training organization that has offered workshops since 2005. It was founded by award-winning journalist, Paula Fray.

Here is the spring course schedule:

• “Social Media Tools for Communicators,” will be offered April 19 - 20 and June 14 - 15.

• “Writing for Business,” will take place from May 11 - 12.

• “Writing Columns,” a one-day workshop, will be held May 13.

• “Understanding Media Relations,” a one-day workshop, will be offered on May 24 and June 7.

All of the courses are supplemented with practical assignments for immediate implementation of new skills. The cost for each ranges from ZAR1,200 to ZAR1,900 (about US$175 to US$277).
