Journalists and media advocates are invited to an event in São Paulo.

The seminar "Um ano de transparência: Usos e desusos da Lei de Acesso" (A year of transparency: Use and disuse of the Access Law) will be held 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on May 22.

Participants will discuss the ways in which the media have used Brazil's access of information law during its first year of implementation, share their experiences and suggest best practices.

The event is organized by Abraji, Conectas Human Rights Article19 and Transparency Brazil.
