Content creators and users can learn copyright basics in a series of free webinars.

The American Society of Media Photographers and Copyright Clearance Center present "The Future of Art & Commerce," a ten-webinar series on copyright, licensing and monetization of content.

The first webinar - "What Everyone Should Know About Copyright" - will be held October 5. The session will discuss basic copyright laws and specific issues in the digital distribution age.

Additional sessions will cover topics like compensation models, the future of licensing and understanding fair use.
