Women journalists in the New York Metropolitan area who work in print, wires, broadcast and online media can apply for an award.

The Newswomen's Club of New York is now accepting entries for the 2011 Front Page Awards. Women journalists, photographers or cartoonists who are staff or freelance are eligible.

Entries must have been published or broadcast between September 1, 2010, and August 31, 2011.

2010 winners include Gretchen Morgenson of The New York Times and Edith Lederer of the Associated Press.
