Future of journalism seminar open [Brazil]

Journalists, students and academics are invited to a media seminar in São Paulo.

The magazine Imprensa will hold a seminar September 12-13 to discuss the past, present and future of journalism, highlighting its achievements and changes.

The program will include discussions on the challenges of the digital age, new technologies in journalism and advertising in the new era.

Among the panelists, the event will feature Fernanda Santos, Phoenix bureau chief of the New York Times; Ariel Palacios, correspondent for O Estado S. Paulo and Globo News in Buenos Aires; David Rohde, columnist for Reuters; and Raul Reis, dean of Florida International University School of Journalism & Mass Communication.

Registration is ongoing, but space is limited. The cost ranges from BR$30 (about US$15) to BR$288 (about US$140).
