U.S. journalists interested in government oversight issues can apply for a fellowship in Washington, D.C.

The Beth Daley Impact Fund Fellowship, sponsored by the Project on Government Oversight (POGO), is a yearlong program designed to give the Fellow experience in investigative journalism and communications. The Fellow will join POGO’s public education team and assist with the blog, social networking, traditional media and other communications projects.

Applicants must have a solid grasp of complicated policy issues and be able translate them into clear and compelling content. The position is entry-level but previous journalism experience is preferred. Fellows are offered a stipend in the mid-US$20,000 range and benefits.
