Guardian seeks paid interns [US]
Journalism students who can legally work in the United States can apply for an internship in New York.
The Guardian is accepting applications for its spring 2013 internship program, which will begin mid-April.
Three full-time interns will be selected for a 12-week term. Two interns will spend six weeks each with the community and comment teams, and one intern will be stationed with the production desk.
Participants will work with reporters and editors, assisting with research and the liveblog. In addition, interns will learn production skills and becoming proficient with The Guardian's content management system. Interns will be involved in multimedia projects, including video, and will package stories, video and graphics for the website.
The commitment requires 40 hours per week, and offers a weekly stipend of US$500.
