Guide on reporting human rights in Iran
A human rights advocacy group has published a guide on interviewing Iranian officials and reporting abuses in the country. In advance of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s trip to New York, the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran released a report urging the media to focus on the ongoing human rights crisis in Iran. The 56-page "Reporters’ Guide: Interviewing Iranian Officials on Human Rights Issues" gives background information and recommendations for interviewing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad about human rights. It is based on a review and analysis of dozens of interviews with Ahmadinejad, and aims to counter his evasions and disinformation. For more visit here.
