Brazilian journalists and media professionals can attend the Fourth National Seminar of Medical Doctors and the Media, scheduled for April 16 and 17 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The seminar's goal is to promote collaboration between health professionals and the media, as well as to simplify the work of the press, helping journalists better understand the sector.

Main themes of the event include: the media as a service provider; how doctors view the media; when and how to use the right to reply or retract; how to give a good interview, conveying information in an objective and efficient manner; the media and new technologies; and power and the media.

The seminar is free and will be held at Hotel Windsor Plaza Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro.
