Journalists can submit works for consideration for 2011 Hillman Prizes. Journalists working in print, broadcast, online media or photography can apply, and works must have been published last year in the United States.

The awards are sponsored by the Sidney Hillman Foundation. They honor journalists exploring modern national issues such as housing, health care, employment security, civil liberties and discrimination.
