Journalists, writers, media specialist and developers from the Arab world can submit their work to enter this competition.

The Arab Thought Foundation is accepting entries for its 2013 Arab Creativity Award.

Applicants can submit their entries in seven different categories: media innovation, scientific innovation, technological innovation, economic innovation, social innovation, innovation in literature and creativity in art.

The winner of each category will receive US$50,000. Applicants can submit their entries individually, in a group or as an institution. Preference will be given to creative work submitted by youth.

An additional award will given this year to the best Arabic book published in 2012. The winner will receive US$100,000.

Applications (.pdf) are submitted to the Arab Thought Foundation in Beirut.

The deadline is July 31.
