Brazil has launched a new interactive portal that promotes access to information. The Web site LivreAcesso.Net enables users to exchange information and coordinate efforts in favor of more transparency.

The Web site features sections on citizen participation, social control, anticorruption measures and freedom of expression. It also provides a database with multimedia items such as podcasts, videos, articles, interviews and news.

The portal follows the Wiki format, allowing organizations to participate directly in the portal by adding content to the pages.
