International Communications Forum focuses on media integrity
Deadline:
This year’s International Communications Forum (ICF) will examine the role of the media in conflict, democracy-building and economic development, within the context of building public trust in the media industry. Registration deadline: June 19.
The conference will be held in Caux, Switzerland. There is a registration cost of CHF100 (about US$80).
The ICF, which is scheduled for July 31 to August 4, is part of a larger conference, titled “Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy,” organized by Switzerland-based development group Initiatives of Change.
Organizers say that the program will include presentations from representatives of international media and NGOs on the impact of media coverage of global affairs and the importance of integrity in developing the world economy.
