International conference on online journalism open for registration [US]

An international symposium on online journalism, featuring top media professionals, is now open for registration.
The 12th International Symposium on Online Journalism, hosted by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas at UT Austin, features two days of panel discussions and keynote addresses from industry representatives.
Topics covered will include innovations in the online journalism industry, economic models, social media and technology.
Speakers from leading media organizations including BBC News, the Washington Post, Patch.com and The New York Times will be sharing best practices and experiences. The keynote speakers are Vivian Schiller, president and CEO of NPR; Meredith Artley, vice president of CNN.com and consultant; and Madanmohan Rao.
The event will take place at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, on the University of Texas at Austin's campus. General registration is US$60, and student registration is US$30. For more information, click here.
