Journalists and communicators dedicated to promoting educational journalism for children are invited to attend an event.

The First International Congress on Child Journalism will promote and encourage educational journalism focused on children and feature sharing sessions, conferences and workshops.

Participation is open to journalists who disseminate information aimed at children and teenagers in educational and cultural spaces or those working in print media or electronic spaces for children.

The event is organized by Comunicadores y Periodistas Asociados of Mexico (Associated Communicators and Journalists of México) in coordination with the Mexico-Cuba Cultural Association Juarez-Martí and Expresión Infantil AC.

The conference will be held November 20 - 23 in Ixatapan de la Sal, Mexico, and hopes to launch the development of strategies to meet a demand for education and training for those interested in the field.
