Investigative journalism fellowship open [US]

U.S. journalists with an interest in financial investigative journalism and less than 10 years of professional experience can apply for a fellowship.
Investigative Reporters and Editors presents the David Dietz Fellowship for one journalist to attend an IRE conference and receive a year-long mentorship with a top financial investigative journalist.
David Dietz was a veteran investigative journalist, a longtime IRE supporter and former Bloomberg Markets reporter.
The IRE conference, held June 14-17 in Boston, features more than 100 panels, hands-on classes and special presentations where speakers will share strategies for locating documents and gaining access to public records, finding the best stories and managing investigations across all media.
Submit a resume, one recommendation letter, work samples, one essay and description of your financial need 60 days before the conference date, or around April 14.
