Investigative journalists in Russia can apply for a grant.

"SCOOP Russia," offered by the Swedish Association of Investigative Journalists (FGJ) and the Danish Association of Investigative Journalism (FUJ), aims to develop and improve investigative journalism in Russia.

The contest supports national, regional and local investigations made on the territory of the Russian Federation, conducted jointly with the journalists of Russia's neighbor countries, such as Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, the Baltic and the Caucasus countries.

Winners of this contest will have an opportunity to participate in investigative training at the Swedish Institute for Further Education of Journalists FOJO, and will receive funds to conduct the proposed investigation.

The deadline is December 1.
