Investigative journalism prize open

Journalism students in the U.S. can participate in a reporting contest.
The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) is launching a contest challenging journalism school students to submit their best investigative videos.
The best video will win a US$2,500 prize. The deadline to enter is Oct. 31, and the 10 best videos will be featured on YouTube investigative journalism channel The I Files, with the overall winner determined by public voting. Funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, the channel on YouTube is curated by CIR and features contributions from media partners including ABC News, BBC, The New York Times, Al-Jazeera and the Investigative News Network (INN).
The deadline is October 31.
