Investigative video contest open [US]
Deadline:
Journalism students can compete for a chance to win US$2,500.
The Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR) is accepting applications for The I Files Futures Award, which will recognize the best investigative video by a journalism student.
A panel led by CIR Senior Producer Steve Talbot will choose 10 of the best videos to be featured on The I Files, and the winner will be determined by public voting on Facebook.
The winner will receive US$2,500, have his or her video showcased on The I Files and receive the opportunity to host a Google+ Hangout with notable media professionals, to be announced at a later time.
The application deadline is January 4.
