Journalism award on coverage of women's issues open [US]

Print, broadcast or online journalists in the United States reporting on women's issues can apply for a US$1,000 award.
The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) seek entries for the Jane Cunningham Croly Award for Excellence in Journalism Covering Issues of Concern to Women.
The award recognizes journalists who best capture the courage, vision and spirit of GFWC’s founder and pioneering journalist Jane Cunningham Croly, who demonstrated a concern for the rights and advancement of women, an awareness of women’s strength and an attempt to counteract sexism.
The winner will receive the cash award and have airfare/expenses covered to attend and speak at the GFWC Annual Convention in Hollywood, Fl., on July 2.
Entries must be postmarked by May 6.
