U.S. journalists and photographers covering the construction industry can enter a competition.

The journalism awards, sponsored by the Construction Writers Association, emphasize key projects, innovative ideas, and the best of the craft. Four journalists who have published in construction industry magazines and journals will be presented with the Robert F. Boger Award.

One journalist will receive the Kneeland “Ned” Godfrey Award, which is presented for superior writing over the course of a year. Two photographers will receive the Gordon B. Wright Award for construction industry-related work.

Last year’s Godfrey Award winner was Nadine Post, editor-at-large for the Engineering News Record (ENR).
