Journalism contest on human rights open [Portugal]

Journalists and freelancers in Portugal are eligible for an award.
Offered by Portuguese nonprofit Assistência Médica Internacional (AMI), the "Prémio AMI – Jornalismo Contra a Indiferença" aims to highlight works that has shed light on intolerable human, social or economic situations anywhere in the world.
Stories must have been first published or aired by a Portuguese newspaper, magazine, website, or television/radio station in 2012. Photographic works will also be accepted.
The prize consists of €15,000 (about US$20,000), as well as a sculpture by artist João Cutileiro and a diploma.
The submission deadline is February 28.
