Journalist associations, media outlets, schools and training centers and professional journalists and fans of the world of communication and the humanities can submit proposals for candidates.

The Asociación de Periodistas Europeos announces the XXX edition of the "Francisco Cerecedo" journalism prize.

The award aims to highlight and reward personal careers or journalism pieces, written or broadcast, that deserve this honor for their talent, originality, ability to transgress the pressures and influences of other powers and promote freedom of expression.

The winner will receive a EU€24,000 prize.

The deadline is July 1.
