Journalists who live in Portugal and have covered the EU student exchange program can compete for a prize.

The Prémio Jornalismo TAP/ Erasmus aims to distinguish original works on the Erasmus Programme, the largest EU student exchange program, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Entries must have been published or broadcast in 2012. Works must focus on telling the experiences of the program's beneficiaries.

The grand prize winner will receive a four-day trip to Berlin. Second and third places will win a weekend vacation in Portugal, including air travel and hotel.

Applications must be submitted online, but works must be sent by regular mail. The deadline is January 31.

The contest is organized by Agência Nacional para a Gestão do Programa Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida (AN PROALV) with the support of TAP airlines.
