Mid-career professional or freelance journalists from Southeast Asia working in print, online or broadcast media can apply for a fellowship.

Sponsored by the Southeast Asian Press Alliance, the journalism fellowship sends selected journalists to a Southeast Asian country of their choice for a three-week investigation.

This year, the theme focuses on how climate change and development affects water resources and local communities.

The program begins with a four-day orientation June 19-24 in Bangkok, Thailand, before fellows travel to their target countries. Transportation and accommodation costs are covered.

The deadline for applications is March 31.
