U.S. journalists, communication specialists or public relations experts can apply for a US$5,000 summer fellowship in Washington, D.C.
InterAction seeks a Fellow to create a communications strategy for NGO Aid Map, an interactive mapping tool that collects information on NGOs’ work at the project level and makes it accessible to donors, NGOs, businesses, governments and the public.
The strategy should incorporate innovative ideas and social media to promote the mapping tool to the U.S. government, donors and the American public; showcase member projects and build a recognizable brand that emphasizes transparency and accountability.
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in a related field, preferably with an interest in humanitarian and development assistance and experience with developing an online presence.
Submit a cover letter, resume, two essays and an example of past work on media strategy by March 12.
