Brazilian journalists may compete for a journalism prize that will recognize stories on aluminum recycling.

Works must have been published or broadcast in newspapers, magazines, radio or TV between June 1, 2010 and March 18, 2010. The submission deadline is March 23.

Organized by Associação Brasileira de Alumínio (Abal), the prize is offered in two categories: print media and Web journalism, and electronic media. Each winner will receive BRL$4,000 (about US$2,200).

The winners will be announced at the 11th International Seminar of Aluminum Recycling, scheduled for April 24-26 in São Paulo.
